Committees & Working Groups

CPR pursues its mission through meetings of the full coalition of all members and through a committee structure.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee develops agendas for the coalition, generates proposals for action to be considered by coalition members, and coordinates between the two committees.

Policy Committee

The Policy Committee initiates, tracks, and advances legislation, develops educational materials and events, and guides advocacy efforts to achieve victories on policy and legislation.

Working groups such as Chicago CPR operate within the Policy Committee as needed to address emerging issues and coordinate coalition campaign efforts.

Coalition-BUilding Committee

The Coalition-Building Committee supports, strengthens, and sustains CPR Membership, recruits new members, develops governing documents, branding, and marketing materials, and maintains internal communication resources.
